Monica is one of my favourite female fitness phenoms. She has lead the way for multiple decades, distinguishing herself through her dedication to physical fitness, not just for now but for her life. She inspires women of all ages to welcome a new interpretation of fitness, to be bold and brave, seeking higher levels of achievement, through her kind but no holds barred approach. It’s been a highlight of my career to not only work with Monica, but appear on magazine covers with her, interview with her and together pave a new reality for wellness for women of all ages.
I was always a fan of Monica’s during her competitive career in the IFBB. In fact, she was one reason why I pursued competing and keeping my body fit and muscular. It was in 2017 when I met Monica at the Arnold Sports Festival. We were on the same stage talking to women about taking care of their bodies and living their best life yet. Monica and I kept in touch and she invited me on her podcast to discuss my program, Midlife Mastery. It was such a great experience talking about our lives as women and the things we’ve accomplished over the years. Monica is so kind, gracious, big hearted and beautiful inside and out. I grateful to call her a friend!
I had such a great time on the Monica Brant show, I can't thank her enough for the opportunity. As a fellow fitness professional, it was enlightening to speak with someone with so much industry experience, that really understands how to interview and ask the right questions. Thank you very much for sharing your experience and expertise with all of us girls up here in Canada. I hope you really know how much of a difference you have made in my life, and I am sure in many other women's lives too. I had a severe eating disorder for about eleven years, but it wasn't until I saw how beautiful muscle looks on a woman that I began to realize that I would rather look like that (you) than be stick thin and very unhealthy. I am sure you have many girls say the same thing to you, but I guess I just wanted to tell you that you have been a very strong and healthy influence in my life. Your influence in the sport of Figure and Fitness has really helped make it become so popular and because of that you have also opened my eyes to a much healthier lifestyle.
